U19 team gathers for Asian qualifier

The national squad will undergo a month-long training for the 2018 Asian U19 Championship qualification, which will be organised in November in Chinese Taipei.

Hanoi (VNA) - The nationalsquad will undergo a month-long training for the 2018 Asian U19 Championshipqualification, which will be organised in November in Chinese Taipei.

Thirty members, including fourgoalkeepers, 10 defenders, 10 midfielders and six strikers, will startpractising on October 2 at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre in Hanoi.

Vietnam is in Group H. They will firstplay Macao on November 4, the hosts on November 6 and Laos two days later.

The 10 group winners and the five bestrunners-up will qualify for the final tournament.-VNA

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi
