Seoul (VNA) – The Vietnam Football Association in Korea (VFAK) has signed a 10-year cooperation agreement with the Daejeon-based IC Food company to foster football development among Vietnamese expatriates.
Speaking at the signing ceremony in Seoul on October 16, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Vu Ho hailed the agreement as a positive step forward and hoped it would pave the way for more such collaboration in the future.
He commended IC Food's unwavering support for the Vietnamese community and the VFAK over the past years.
VFAK President Doan Quang Viet expressed his gratitude to both the Vietnamese Embassy and IC Food for their backing since the association’s inception, saying that this support has been instrumental in its growth and success.
Established in 2019, IC Food has already made a name for itself within the student community by organising the annual ICFood Football Cup. This highly anticipated event, now in its 15th year, is specifically tailored for Vietnamese students in the RoK./.
