Hanoi (VNA) – Hoang Anh Gia Lai U19 football team of Vietnam beat ChineseTaipei 4-1 at the International U19 Football Tournament in the central provinceof Khanh Hoa on April 16.

TienDat opened the scoring for the Vietnamese side in the 25th minute while QuangNho made it 2 – 0 in the 63rd minute.

Inthe 77th minute, Hoang Tu grabbed his team’s third, while Trung Nghia completedthe rout nine minutes later. 

ChineseTaipei scored a consolation goal late on.

TheInternational U19 Football Tournament kicked off in Khanh Hoa’s Nha Trang cityon April 11 with the participation of five teams, from Chinese Taipei, Myanmarand the Republic of Korea, and two teams from Vietnam.

Itis organised by the Thanh Nien Media Corporation and the Vietnam FootballFederation and will run until April 22.-VNA

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Festival promotes Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange
