Hanoi (VNA) – The ongoing tulipfestival at the Sun World Ba Na Hills tourism complex in the central coastalcity of Da Nang has been recognized by the Guinness Vietnam Record as thebiggest of its kind in Vietnam.
Taking place from February 14 to March 31, thefestival with theme "Land of Colourful Flowers" has turned the areainto a little "Netherlands” with over 1 million bulbs, along with specialart performances.
More than 15 world-famous varieties of tulipsare on display at the event.
The flowers have been imported directly from theNetherlands and grown in the Central Highland city of Da Lat, which has idealweather conditions for tulips.
Some have also been planted and grown in Ba Na, dubbed as the second Da Lat inVietnam.-VNA
