Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily referenceexchange rate at 22,755 VND/USD on the morning of December 4, unchanged from theprevious day.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied bycommercial banks for the day is 23,437 VND/USD and the floor rate is 22,073VND/USD.

At commercial banks, the price of USD saw decreases.

At 8:15, Vietcombank posted 23,260 – 23,350 VND per USD for its buying andselling rates, down by 15 VND from December 3.

At BIDV, the buying and selling rates were 23,255 – 23,345 VND per USD, down by45 VND.

Techcombank cut the buying rate by 10 VND and the buying rate by 15 VND to 23,240VND and 23,390 VND per USD, respectively, compared to the previous day.-VNA
