Hanoi (VNA) - Thedaily reference exchange rate went up 3 VND on November 30 to 22,750 VND perUSD.

With the current trading band of  +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is23,431 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,069 VND/USD.

On the contrary, the openinghour rates at commercial banks dropped compared to the previous day.

Vietcombank reduced both rates by20 VND, listing the buying rate at 23,275 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,365VND/USD.

Techcombank also slashed 20 VNDfrom both rates, bringing the buying rate down to 22,955 VND/USD and the sellingrate to 23,365 VND/USD.  

The rates listed by BIDV were down by 10 VNDto 23,285 VND/USD (buying) and 23,375 VND/USD (selling).

The reference exchange rate wasrather stable during the week from November 26 to 30, except for a rise of 4VND on November 27 and another 3 VND on the last day of the week.

The rates listed at commercialbanks fluctuated throughout the week, with the rates at Vietcombank andTechcombank ending the week lower than that at the start.- VNA
