Ha Giang (VNA) – Prime MinisterNguyen Xuan Phuc visited the culture-tourism space in the northern mountainousprovince of Ha Giang on November 26.

He took thisoccasion to talk with local businesses, people and manufacturers.

The PMwelcomed Ha Giang to host exhibitions introducing local key products, includingfarm produce, medicines, confectionery, and brocading products.

He remindedthe manufacturing facilities to create highly competitive products by improvingquality, design and packaging.

The PM is dueto attend the largest-scale trade and investment promotion conference in HaGiang on November 27.

Ha Giangprovince has a population of 800,000, 90 percent of whom are ethnic minoritypeople with their unique culture and lifestyle. The most populous are the Mong,Tay, Dao and Nung.

The provincedraws tourists with its endless terraced rice fields, buckwheat flower fieldsand grandiose mountain landscapes.

One of the mostbeautiful sites in the province is the Dong Van Karst Global Geopark,designated by UNESCO as one of 77 sites with important geological and culturalvalue. The geopark is littered with ethereal karst formations that are nearly400 million years old.-VNA

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi
