Nghe An (VNA) - An exhibition of photographs entitled “A Beautiful Laos” opened in Vinh city, Nghe An central province on April 10.
The 140 photos on display were taken by journalist Tran Duy Ngoan, the former director of the Nghe An Radio and Television station (NTV).
They feature vivd and genuine images of Laos , a country known as the land of a million elephants or the country of the champa (Lao’s national flower).
Ngoan has had a strong attachment to Laos for many years. He spent two years with Vietnam Television (VTV) and NTV producing a 50-episode documentary about Laos , a project to mark the 2012 Vietnam-Laos Friendship and Solidarity Year .
The exhibition, which will last until April 16, is part of activities to celebrate the Laos ’ Bunpimay traditional New Year.
After the exhibition closes, Ngoan will present his work to the University of Vinh , where a number of Lao students are studying.-VNA
