HCM City (VNA) – A photo exhibition highlighting the Vietnam-Russiafriendship kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on November 1.
It is part of the activities held to celebrate the 100th anniversary ofthe Russian October Revolution (November 7).
The exhibition features 100 photos focusing on three themes, namely theOctober Revolution in 1917, the Vietnam-Russia friendship and the belovedRussia.
Photos of construction projects built in Vietnam with the help ofRussia are also on display, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Vietnam-SovietUnion Cultural Friendship Palace, Tri An and Hoa Binh Hydropower Plants.
Visitors also have a chance to contemplate photos of famousdestinations in Russia such as Lenin Mausoleum and Red Square.
The event is expected to raise publicawareness about the October Revolution and the Vietnam-Russia strategicpartnership for benefits of their people and forthe sake of regional and international peace and development.
