The Samyang team of the RoK and Biwase BinhDuong team of Vietnam took the second and third places, respectively.
In the final stage from Ba Ria-Vung Tau toBinh Duong, Thai cyclist Jutatip Maneephan covered 110km after 2:45:31 to comefirst, followed by Jupha Somnet of Malaysia and Lee Joon-hee of the Republic ofKorea (RoK).
Meanwhile, Shoko Kashiki of Japan won theyellow jersey of the tournament with a time of 22:56:51. Hiromi Kaneko, anothercyclist of Japan, came second while Tran Thi Kim Anh of Dong Thap Lottery wasranked third.
Cyclist Nguyen Thi Kim Cuong of Can ThoCity team won the white jersey for the best young cyclist of the tourney.
The annual tournament drew theparticipation of 80 female cyclists in nine domestic and seven foreign teams,including two teams from Japan, and one each from the Republic of Korea,Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Australia.
The competition was co-organised by theVietnam Cycling and Sport Motors Federation and the Binh Duong Water SupplySewerage-Environment Co., Ltd., (Biwase).
With a total length of over 800 km, femalecyclists competed in nine stages and conquer sloping passes such as Bao Loc andPrenn in Lam Dong province, Cu Hin in the central province of Nha Trang, andVinh Hy in the central province of Ninh Thuan. –VNA
