A ceremony to announce the honour was held inthe northern port city of Hai Phong on October 6.

Artisan Pham Van Tuyen - Venerable Thich ChanhTinh said he and his associates made the vases in two months, using ceramicglaze in the style of historical period between the Early Le dynasty(1428–1527) and the Mac dynasty (1527–1677).
The collection introduces and honours ceramicproducts and Vietnamese traditional pottery in particular, thus preservingvalues of traditional pottery villages, said Director of Hai Phong’s Departmentof Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Van Quy.-VNA
