Young players, coach to attend Madrid's Football for Friendship Academy

The Promotion Fund of Vietnamese Football Talents Academy will send four athletes to Spain to train at the International Football for Friendship Academy in Madrid.

Hanoi (VNS/VNA)— The Promotion Fund of Vietnamese Football Talents Academy will send fourathletes to Spain to train at the International Football for FriendshipAcademy in Madrid.


The young players, under coach Nguyen Quoc Trung, willjoin other coaches and their teams from around the world at the annualevent from May 28 to June 2.

During the programme, coaches will lead training sessions andattend master classes from specialists. They will exchange experiences, developprofessional skills and learn how to fulfill their students’ potential.Meanwhile the young footballers will have their interest in ahealthy football lifestyle nurtured and be taught basic human values suchas friendship, equality, fairness and honour.

This year, they will havechance to attend the UEFA Champions League Final at Wanda MetropolitanoStadium on June 1.

In the six seasons sincethe academy began, more than 5,500 athletes from 211 countries haveparticipated. — VNS/VNA

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Festival promotes Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange

Hanoi Ao dai dance marks Vietnamese women’s day

Vietnam attends UNESCO Executive Board’s 220th session in France
