Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnamese top striker Le Cong Vinh has been named in theAFF Suzuki Cup 2016 team of the tournament by the website fourfourwo.com(Singapore version).

“Vietnam’sLe Cong Vinh will retire from international football after the Golden Stars’semi-final exit, but he will do so as their leading scorer in the tournament.The Vietnamese skipper surpassed Le Huynh Duc’s record of 14 AFF Suzuki Cupgoals, scoring two during the group stages to take him to an overall tally of15 goals,” the website wrote about Vinh.

“Bothgoals proved crucial each time, with the first being a winner against co-hostsMyanmar, while the second was an equaliser against Cambodia. Southeast Asia haslittle to boast of in striking talents and Vinh’s scoring prowess will behugely missed by the region,” the website added.

BesidesVinh, it named Teerasil Dangda of Thailand, Boaz Solossa of Indonesia, Aung Thuof Myanmar and Hassan Sunny of Singapore.

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi
