Bui Cong Duy is thetop violinist of Vietnam. He started to play the violin at the age offour under instruction of his father, Professor Dr. Bui Cong Thanh.
He won scores of prizes, including the first prize of Z.BronInternational String Competition in 1995 and the first prize and goldenmedal of International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians in1997 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
He works for the Vietnam National Academy of Music in Hanoi and also plays at many big concert events worldwide.
Trio FUGU, consisting of pianist Ming Tsu, violinist Lorenz Gamma andcellist Joon Sung Jun, has a combined experience of performingextensively in many of the world’s most prestigious concert halls. Themembers of trio FUGU perform and teach regularly at numerous festivalsin the U.S, Mexico, China, the Republic of Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia,Germany, France, Italy and Switzerland.
