Titled “Hello Vietnam”, the event,which was held with the support the national flag carrier , isone of the events celebrating the 25th anniversary of Vietnam-RoK bilateraldiplomatic relations (December 22, 1992 - December 22, 2017).
At the event, Vietnamese Ambassadorto the RoK Nguyen Vu Tu was said he was delighted with the thriving relationsbetween the two countries in every field from politics, economy topeople-to-people exchange.
He said the Vietnamese culinary monthis an important event promoting Vietnamese culture to Korean people andinternational friends, helping them gain better understanding and experiencethe beauty and uniqueness of Vietnamese cuisine cooked by Vietnamese chiefs.
Meanwhile, a representative of LotteSeoul Hotel appreciated the Vietnamese Embassy’s support in implementing theevent, pledging to continue working to tighten the Vietnam-RoK ties, especiallyin culture and people-to-people exchange.
Vietnamese chiefs attending the eventsaid that they were proud to showcase Vietnam’s delicacies such as spring rollsand pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) to the RoK, which shares historical andcultural similarities with Vietnam.
Visitors highly valued Vietnamesecuisine and its uniqueness, saying that Vietnamese cooking is elegant andunique rather than sophisticated, which delivers delicious and healthy food andreflects part of a culture they want to soon discover and experience.-VNA
