Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnamese martial artist Ho Thi Kim Nganwon a gold medal at the second competition day of the Chuncheon Republic ofKorea Open International Taekwondo Championships on July 4.
Ngan beat Japanese Eguchi Mahiro in the final of the women’s under49kg category.
She has practiced taekwondo for four years and won a gold medal inthe 44kg division in the World Junior Taekwondo Championships held in Canadalast year.
The athlete, from the southern province of An Giang, also won goldmedals in the 41kg category in the Southeast Asian and Asia tournament in 2015.
The Chuncheon Republic of Korea Open has attracted more than 1,000athletes from 60 countries and territories. It will end on July 7.-VNA
