Popular United Kingdom-based Vietnamese model and entrepreneur JessicaMinh Anh will present her historic 10th show inside the award-winningsolar power plant Gemasolar in Seville, Spain, on July 17.

UnlikeMinh Anh's previous fashion shows at the Eiffel Tower, London's TowerBridge, the Grand Canyon Skywalk and the One World Trade Centre, the "JSummer Fashion Show 2015" will not only showcase a combination of art,architecture, culture and fashion, but will also celebrate the best ofadvanced technology and environmental conservation.

Set againstthe cinematic backdrop of the famous central tower and thousands ofcutting-edge mirrors, the sunshine catwalk is expected to redefinemodern fashion standards.

The "J Summer Fashion Show 2015" willpremiere six fashion and jewellery collections from Europe and Asia,such as from Turkish jewellery brand EKRIA and Spain's Paloma Sanchez.

The show will present designs by Pakistani haute couture designer Syeda Amera and Seville's designer Pilar Vera.

Verasaid, "Jessica Minh Anh embodies fluid movements, class and elegance,which resonate in my collection. I look forward to her leading othermodels down the catwalk in my signature multi-layered doll-like reddress."

HCM City-based Vietnamese designer Hoang Hai willpremiere an alluring collection made of the finest materials, anddecorated with lace, brocade, Italian tulle and Swarovski crystals.

Theshow will be filmed using the latest drone technology. This will allowthe sun's effect on the engineering marvel and the exquisite fashioncollections to be artistically highlighted.

"It is an honour forTorresol Energy to have Jessica Minh Anh transform Gemasolar into thefirst-ever solar-powered catwalk," Raul Mendoza Ruiz, Gemasolar Plantmanager, Torresol Energy, said. "Gemasolar is part of thenext-generation power plants and represents the future, just as Jessicadoes in fashion. We find it very meaningful that Jessica has chosen suchan ecological scenario for the show. It speaks about her belief ingreen power."

In March this year, Minh Anh presented New York in anew light by transforming Hudson River's one and only glass boat intoan iconic floating catwalk. Guests were seated facing the multi-facetedglass window and watched models walk as if they were walking on water.

NewYork's famous skyline as well as its architectural wonders such as theBrooklyn Bridge, the Empire State Building and the One World TradeCentre became a natural backdrop for the iconic catwalk.

Inprevious years, Minh Anh amazed the world with her shows at Paris'sEiffel Tower, New York's One World Trade Centre, Singapore's Gardens bythe Bay and Arizona's Grand Canyon, as well as Dubai's floating museumof contemporary Italian art, the Costa Atlantica, Kuala Lumpur'sPetronas twin towers and London's Tower Bridge.-VNA

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Archaeologists from the Vietnam Institute of Archaeology, the Hanoi Museum and the Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities have announced the discovery of over 70 graves from the pre-Dong Son period and 40 graves from Dong Son period at the Vuon Chuoi archaeological relic in Kim Chung commune, Hoai Duc district.

Hanoi Ao dai dance marks Vietnamese women’s day
