Vietnamese embassy in Venezuela holds ASEAN golf tourney

The Vietnamese Embassy in Venezuela has organised an ASEAN friendly golf tournament with the participation of embassies from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, and Japan.
Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnamese Embassyin Venezuela has organised an ASEAN friendly golf tournament with theparticipation of embassies from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, andJapan.

The event formed part of activities of the ASEANCommittee in Caracas (ACC) in celebration of the 50th founding anniversary ofthe association.

It aims to tighten the friendship andcooperation between Vietnam and other ASEAN member countries and foreignpartners.

Indonesian Ambassador Mochammad LuthfieWitt’eng, as rotating Chair of the ACC, said the tournament helped the embassiesenhance mutual understanding and collaboration.

Founded in 1967, ASEAN groups Brunei, Cambodia,Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand andVietnam.-VNA

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Archaeologists from the Vietnam Institute of Archaeology, the Hanoi Museum and the Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities have announced the discovery of over 70 graves from the pre-Dong Son period and 40 graves from Dong Son period at the Vuon Chuoi archaeological relic in Kim Chung commune, Hoai Duc district.

Festival promotes Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange

Hanoi Ao dai dance marks Vietnamese women’s day
