Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese cyclist Nguyen Thi That won the first women's edition of theGrand Prix de Fourmies cycling race which ended in France early September9 (Hanoi time).

The top femaleVietnamese cyclist of the Lotto Soudal Ladies team of Belgium finishedfirst with a time of 3hr 08.17min in the 118km race.

The one-stage racehad almost no hills, which aided skilled sprinter That.

She leftbehind Kaat Hannes (Jos Feron Lady Force) and Pascale JeulandTranchant (Doltcini Van Eyck Sport Women Cycling), two powerful Europeanathletes, at the finish line.

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Festival promotes Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange

Hanoi Ao dai dance marks Vietnamese women’s day
