HCM City (VNA) – Eleven contemporarydances will be performed by Vietnamese and international artists at theKrossing Over Arts Festival (KOAF) 2019, the third edition of its kind, in HoChi Minh City from April 5-11 and Hanoi from April 13-21.
The event will be co-organised by the FrenchInstitute in Vietnam and Kerman Company under the theme “The Roots”, heard apress conference in HCM City on March 26.
Other art forms such as short films, artisttalks and workshops on contemporary dance will be held as the part of thefestival.
Through the lens of performing arts and ordinaryactivities in artistic form, this year's shows will bring the concept of originand growth to life.
French Consul General to Ho Chi Minh CityVincent Floreani said he hopes through the festival, visitors will experiencedifferent arts and cultures.
KOAF was launched in 2017 by choreographerSébastien Ly with the support from the French Institute in Vietnam.-VNA
