Beijing (VNA) – Vietnamese Ambassador to ChinaPham Sao Mai presented credentials to Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijingon November 22. 

Ambassador Mai conveyed Party General Secretary andPresident Nguyen Phu Trong’s regards and Vietnamese Party and State leaders’invitation to Chinese Party General Secretary and President Xi to Vietnam nextyear when the two countries celebrate the 70th anniversary ofbilateral diplomatic ties.

The diplomat expressed his honour to assume the new role andvowed to do his best to promote the ties between the two Parties and countriesfor their stable, healthy and sustainable development.

The host conveyed his regards to the Vietnamese Party andState leader, saying that ties between the two countries in general have keptgrowing over the past years.

He suggested that the two sides fully grasp orientations todevelop ties between the two Parties and countries, maintain high-level exchanges,boost mutually-beneficial cooperation and people-to-people exchange to lift thebilateral ties to a greater height in the time to come./.
