The Vietnam – China international trade and tourism fair, themed “Cooperation expansion – Sustainable development”, will take place in Mong Cai city in the northeastern province of Quang Ninh from December 1 – 7.

Quang Ninh (VNA) –
The Vietnam – Chinainternational trade and tourism fair, themed “Cooperation expansion – Sustainable development”, will takeplace in Mong Cai city in the northeastern province of Quang Ninh from December1 – 7.

The annual fairis held alternately in Mong Cai and Dongxing city in the Chinese province ofGuangxi under a cooperation agreement.

This year, theevent will attract 400 stalls, including 300 domestic and 100 foreign displays.

Vice Chairwomanof Mong Cai City People’s Committee Nguyen Thu Huong said participating Chineseexhibitors are interested in importing agro-forestry-fisheries products fromVietnam.

Within theframework of the fair, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and theQuang Ninh People’s Committee will hold a connectivity conference to promote theexport of agro-forestry-fisheries products to China.

Delegates fromthe two countries will provide information on respective import-exportpolicies, and advise firms how to deal with difficulties to createopportunities for them to expand economic ties.

Music performances, a street culture and artsnight, a tourism promotion forum, an exhibition on socio-economic achievements,and cultural and economic exchanges are also planned./.
