The event is part of the cooperation between theHCM CYU Central Committee and the Indian Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
The delegates previously had sightseeing tripsto famous destinations and museums in New Delhi, the Indian Institute ofTechnology, and joined a working session with staff of the country’s Ministryof Youth Affairs and Sports.
It also worked with various local universitiesto explore youth campaigns and youth development of the country.
Speaking to the delegation on September 10,Vietnamese Ambassador to India Ton Sinh Thanh stressed that Vietnam and Indiaare important partners to each other, as the two nations share varioussimilarities, mutual benefits and challenges.
Youth exchanges offer opportunities to promoteVietnam’s images to international friends, he noted, calling for efforts ofVietnamese youths in contributing to the Vietnam-India ties.
Representative of the delegation Tran Minh Huyenvoiced her hope that the embassy will continue supporting Vietnamese studentsstudying in India, and affirmed the HCM CYU Central Committee will closelycooperate with the embassy to foster youth exchanges between the nations.
During the visit, the delegation is scheduled tomeet with staff of India’s national institute for volunteering and joinactivities in Agra city in Uttar Pradesh state, Bhubaneswar city in Odishastate and Kolkata city in West Bengal state.-VNA
