Vietnam beat Singapore 4 - 0 in a match of the international friendly football tournament in Ho Chi Minh City on September 21 evening.

HCM City (VNA) –Vietnam beat Singapore 4 - 0 in a match of the internationalfriendly football tournament in Ho Chi Minh City on September 21 evening.

Coach Park Hang-seo of Vietnam took ateam with many young players to the friendly match, held at Thong Nhat Stadium, whilecoach Takayuki Nishigaya of Singapore also did not deploy his strongest squad.

The opening goal was scored by the seasonedNguyen Van Quyet at the end of the first half.

The three other goals for Vietnamcame in the second half thanks to Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Ho Tan Tai, and Khuat VanKhang.

The international friendly football tournamentgathers Vietnam, Singapore, and India.

The next games will be betweenSingapore and India on September 24, and between Vietnam and India on September27./.

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Archaeologists from the Vietnam Institute of Archaeology, the Hanoi Museum and the Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities have announced the discovery of over 70 graves from the pre-Dong Son period and 40 graves from Dong Son period at the Vuon Chuoi archaeological relic in Kim Chung commune, Hoai Duc district.

Festival promotes Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange

Hanoi Ao dai dance marks Vietnamese women’s day

Vietnam attends UNESCO Executive Board’s 220th session in France
