Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam welcomedthe outcome of the inter-Korean summit on September 19, 2018 and the signing ofthe Pyongyang Joint Declaration, said the Foreign Ministry’s spokeswoman Le ThiThu Hang has said.

Hang made the statement at a regularpress briefing on September 20 while answering reporters’ query about theoutcome of the inter-Korean summit, which took place in Pyongyang, theDemocratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).

Vietnam supported the concerned partiesmaintaining dialogue and high-level meetings, and having constructive andpractical actions in order to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula; and promotingdialogue, cooperation, peace and stability in the region and the world as well,she said.-VNA
