Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam NationalAdministration of Tourism is organising a programme to promote Vietnam tourismin Japan from September 6 to 15.

The programme will be held in Kanagawa, Tokyoand Hokkaido, aiming to attract more Japanese tourists to Vietnam.

Japan is now the third biggest source market ofVietnam. In 2018, Vietnam welcomed 826,000 Japanese visitors, a year-on-yearrise of 3.6 percent.

In the first eight months of this year, 620,000Japanese tourists arrived in Vietnam, up 13.7 percent year-on-year.-VNA
