The event, themed “ Vietnam and ASEAN food” offered a chance forwomen from ASEAN member countries’ representative offices in Malaysiato discuss and share experiences in social activities and family life.
At the event, Director of Vietnam Cuisine StudiesInstitute Nguyen Nha briefed participants on Vietnam's culinaryhistory as well as similarities between Vietnam and ASEAN food.
Participants also had the chance to enjoy traditional Vietnamesedishes, including beef noodle and spring rolls made by famous cooks.
Minister Counsellor of the Vietnam Embassy in Malaysia, Le Thi HoangCuc said the ASEAN cuisine culture exchange will help bolster mutualunderstanding and solidarity among regional countries./.
