Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnamsuffered their second loss at the AFC U19 Women’s Football Championship onOctober 19 in Nanjing, China.

The team lost 0-5 to theRepublic of Korean rivals in a match at Jiangsu Training Base Stadium.

Kim Soeun scored a hattrickwhile Mun Eun-ju and Kim Eun-soul netted one goal each for the Korean side tomaintain their ability to compete in the sem-finals.

A final Group B matchagainst Japan on October 22 will decide the Koreans’ ultimate fate. This meansthey can also keep alive their hopes for a fifth successive FIFA U20 Women’sWorld Cup appearance.

Vietnam, on the other hand,remains at the bottom of the rankings. They will next face Australia who playedJapan on October 19.-VNA

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Festival promotes Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange

A cultural festival has been held in Uijeongbu city of the Republic of Korea (RoK)'s Gyeonggi province to mark the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Association (VWA) in the country.

Hanoi Ao dai dance marks Vietnamese women’s day
