Hanoi (VNA) – Some 80 golfers will compete at the Ladies’ NationalAmateur Golfer Championship (LNAGC) 2017,which begins at FLC Quy Nhon Golf Links in the central coastal province of BinhDinh on December 7.
The information was released by the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA) at a pressconference in Hanoi on November 22.
Golfers will compete in three rounds of 18 holes each. Golfers finishing in thetop 10 will receive ranking points for the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR).
According to VGA General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, golf has become morepopular among Vietnamese women in recent years.
The annual LNAGC, held since 2012, allows female golfers to compete andexchange experience, she said.-VNA
