Vietnam Int’l Fashion Week underway in HCM City

The Vietnam International Fashion Week Spring Summer 2018 is taking place in Ho Chi Minh City from April 19-22.

HCM City (VNA) – The VietnamInternational Fashion Week Spring Summer 2018 is taking place in Ho Chi MinhCity from April 19-22.

The event attracted nearly 30 fashion designersand brands from Vietnam, China’s Taiwan, Singapore, Israel, Italy and France.

Founder of the week Trang Le shared that thisyear’s event features the theme “East meets West” to create a venue fordomestic and foreign designers to exchange and promote cultural connectivity. 

“The dream of a fashion industry in Vietnam isnearing as we have leading fashion brands and some world-renowned designers arepresent at the fashion week,” she said.

She hoped visitors will have an opportunity toenjoy new, modern and impressive fashion styles during the week.

Through six years of organisation, the week hasbecome an annual cultural event receiving warm welcome from fashion lovers.-VNA

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Festival promotes Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange

Hanoi Ao dai dance marks Vietnamese women’s day
