Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s national men’s football team rosefour places in the latest FIFA rankings to No. 130 in the world and second inthe Southeast Asian region, behind the Philippines.
Vietnam beat Cambodia 2-1 in the qualifying round of the Asian Cup 2019in early September, winning the team 10 more points to bring its total to 241in the final rankings.
Meanwhile, Thailand, which lost 1-2 to Australia, dropped seven placesto the world’s No. 137.
