Vietnam face Indonesia in AFF women’s champs

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam nationalwomen’s football team is due to face Indonesia in their first match of Group Bof the AFF Women’s Championship 2018 held at Jaka Baring Stadium, Indonesia, onJuly 3.

The team has trained for nearly a week inPalembang, Indonesia to prepare for the event.

At present, the team is very comfortableand confident for the upcoming match, said Vietnamese coach Mai Duc Chung.

In the match against Indonesia, they willattack with the aim of earning three points, he added.

Earlier, host Indonesia were held to ascoreless draw by Singapore, while Myanmar thrashed the Philippines 4-0 in anearlier match of Group B.

The AFF event is taking place in Indonesiafrom June 30 to July 13. Vietnam are in Group B alongside Myanmar, thePhilippines, Singapore and the hosts Indonesia. Group A features Thailand,Australia, Malaysia, Cambodia and Timor Leste.-VNA

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Festival promotes Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange
