Vietnam Airlines announced on September 18 that it will launch two new routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Indonesia’s Bali resort island and Thailand’s Phuket island from October 27 to meeting increasing travel demands.
The national flag carrier will operate seven flights per week to Bali island. The flights will depart from HCM City at 11:10, and return flights will take off from Bali at 16:50 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
This is the second route of Vietnam Airlines to Indonesia following the HCM City-Jakarta one launched in December 2012.
As for the HCM City – Phuket route, flights are scheduled to take off at 15:50 from HCM City and 18:40 from Phuket on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. The carrier plans to increase the frequency of the flights to seven per week from the end of March 2020.-VNA
