The service has been launched in celebration of the 78th anniversary of Vietnam Railways Traditional Day (October 21).
This allows travellers from anywhere to search for train schedules and purchase train tickets for their trips in Vietnam.
The online map services also offer information in various languages.
Passengers can purchase their train tickets with international payment cards or via Google Pay, Apple Pay and Samsung Pay.
According to the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, rail travel has seen positive developments. Last year, the number of domestic and foreign holidaymakers travelling by train reached 10 million and 1.5 million, up 15% and 20% year-on-year, respectively./.
