Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam Airlines hasdelayed flights between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) on October 2evening due to impact of Storm Mitag in the Northeast Asian region.
The national flag carrier announced that FlightsVN422 and VN426 from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to the RoK’s Busan city, alongwith Flights VN423 and VN427 from Busan to HCM City, will take off on October 3morning, instead of October 2 evening as initially planned.
Flights VN408, VN416, VN440, VN430 and VN441from HCM City, Da Nang city and Cam Ranh city to Incheon city of the RoK willalso be delayed for several hours.
Passengers on the rescheduled flights willreceive support from the carrier in line with regulations.
On September 30, Vietnam Airlines alsorescheduled flights to and from Shanghai Pudong International Airport of Chinadue to the storm.
It recommended passengers who plan to travel toor form the airports affected by this storm in Taipei (Taiwan, China), Busanand Seoul (the RoK), and Shanghai, Hangzhou and Changzhou (China) to keep aclose watch on weather changes and stay updated on information from thecarrier.
