Hanoi (VNA) – Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh cameto the Japanese Embassy in Hanoi on May 6 to extend congratulations on theoccasion of the enthronement of Emperor Naruhito.

Writing in the book of congratulations on behalf of theVietnamese state and people, the Vice President congratulated Japan’s newemperor, imperial family, and people. 

She noted the belief that Japanese people will obtainfurther national construction achievements in the Reiwa era.

The Vice President stated Vietnam treasures and wants todevelop its extensive strategic partnership with Japan for the interest of thetwo peoples as well as for peace, cooperation and development in the region andin the world.   

Emperor Naruhito was officially throned on May 1, markingthe beginning of the Reiwa era in Japan.-VNA
