The event will provide a good opportunity for management agencies,social organisations and domestic and foreign lawmakers to discussissues related to culture and development, as well as ways to maintainsustainable development goals.
At the event, UNESCOand central Quang Nam province will announce the results of theircooperation over the past decade, which reflect the contributionsheritage tourism has made to sustainable development.
Anumber of activities are scheduled during the week including an awardsceremony for a fine art contest, the inauguration of a touristinformation centre in Hoi An and a display of relics from theUNESCO-recognised My Son sanctuary heritage site.
Quang Nam boasts two UNESCO cultural heritage sites, namely Hoi An ancient town and My Son sanctuary relic.-VNA/VOV
