Sponsorship for Vietnamese Paralympians announced

The Vietnam Paralympics Association and relevant agencies signed two sponsorship deals in Hanoi on June 2 to support Vietnamese athletes competing at the upcoming Tokyo Paralympic Games.

Hanoi (VNA) - The Vietnam Paralympics Association and relevant agencies signed two sponsorshipdeals in Hanoi on June 2 to support Vietnamese athletes competing at theupcoming Tokyo Paralympic Games.

VKFrontier and TanVan Dai JSC have become two major sponsors of the Vietnamese Paralympic delegation.

The sponsorship willease the difficulties facing the sportsmen and women in the face of COVID-19 andbe a source of encouragement for all athletes with disabilities and those competingin Tokyo in particular.

Vietnam will send11 athletes to this year’s Paralympics, from August 24 to September 5,including three in track and field and four each in swimming and weightlifting.

Vietnameseathletes secured one gold, one silver, and two bronze medals at the RioParalympic Games in 2016./.

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Hanoi Ao dai dance marks Vietnamese women’s day
