QuangNgai (VNA) – Nearly 200 objects from shipwrecks in Vietnamesewaters are on display at an exhibition that opened in the central coastalprovince of Quang Ngai on January 29.
The exhibits are selected from more than 60,000 objects collected by Doan AnhDuong Investment and Development JSC over the past 15 years.
Most of the items are ceramic, including those dating back to the 15th and 16thcenturies, found on ships that wrecked off Cu Lao Cham island in the centralprovince of Quang Nam and Phu Quoc island in the southern province of KienGiang.
The display is expected to be integrated with other services and art showcasesin order to pull in a wider crowd and attract more visitors. –VNA
