With the current trade band of /- 3 percent, the ceiling rate forcommercial bank is 22,788 VND and the floor rate, 21,462 VND per USD.
However, the opening hour rates at commercial banks continued to declineremarkably.
Vietcombank listed its buying rate at 22,530 VND and selling rate at22,610 VND for one USD, both down 65 VND from the rates on December 9.
The buying rate at BIDV was 22,530 VND, down 60 VND, and the sellingrate – 22,610 VND, down 50 VND.
Vietinbank cut its buying rateby 55 VND to 22,540 VND and its selling rate dropped 50 VND to 22,615 VND perUSD.-VNA
