Hanoi(VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the reference VND/USD exchange rate at22,117 VND per USD on December 9, up 2 VND from the day before.

With the current /- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rateis 22,780 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,454 VND per USD.

In the opening hour, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 22,595 VND per USD, down65 VND, and the selling rate at 22,675 VND per USD, down 75 VND.

BIDV offered thebuying rate at 22,590 VND per USD and the selling rate at 22,660 per USD, down70 VND and 80 VND, respectively.

Eximbank bought oneUSD for 22,580 VND and sold one USD for 22,670 VND, unchanged from December 8.

In Vietinbank, the buying rate was listed 22,595 VND/USD, up 10 VND, while theselling rate was 22,665 VND/USD, unchanged from the day before.-VNA
