HCM City(VNA) – An exhibition showcasing digital reproductions of 24 masterpieces of Italianartist Raffaello opened in Ho Chi Minh City’s exhibition house on August 25.
The event was presentedfor the first time in Asia by the Italian Consulate General in Ho Chi MinhCity, the Ho Chi Minh City Museum, Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs andInternational Cooperation, in cooperation with Italian National Television RAIand sponsors.
Titled “Raffaello:Opera Omnia”, the exhibition is a combination of the world’s painting masterpiecesand cutting-edge technology, recreating artworks of Raffaello in the mosttruthfully manner, said Carlotta Colli, the Italian Consul General in Ho ChiMinh City.
She added thatvisitors will have a chance to enjoy masterpieces of Raffaello in the samespace and at the same time, despite the fact that the paintings are indifferent parts of Italy and Europe.
The event has aspecial meaning, expressing the commitment of Italy in deepening and wideningcultural cooperation and exchange between Vietnam and Italy.
