Quang Ninh opens Vietnam Circus Festival

The Vietnam Circus Festival kicked off in the northern province of Quang Ninh on November 20 evening under the theme “Quang Ninh - The convergence of Vietnamese circus stars 2021”.

Quang Ninh (VNA) - The Vietnam Circus Festival kicked off in thenorthern province of Quang Ninh on November 20 evening under the theme “QuangNinh - The convergence of Vietnamese circus stars 2021”.

This is a national cultural event held annually in Ha Longcity, drawing the participation of nearly 100 artists from theVietnam Circus Federation.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Culture and Sports Tran Tien Dung emphasised that the festivalis an activity in response to Quang Ninh's tourism recovery programme in 2021to attract more visitors to the locality.

This event also contributes to popularising and promotingthe image of Quang Ninh’s culture and people, as well as Ha Long as a safe,friendly and attractive destination in the context that the province iseffectively controlling the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Vietnam Circus Festival will take place until the end ofNovember 21./.

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Archaeologists from the Vietnam Institute of Archaeology, the Hanoi Museum and the Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities have announced the discovery of over 70 graves from the pre-Dong Son period and 40 graves from Dong Son period at the Vuon Chuoi archaeological relic in Kim Chung commune, Hoai Duc district.

Festival promotes Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange

Hanoi Ao dai dance marks Vietnamese women’s day

Vietnam attends UNESCO Executive Board’s 220th session in France
