They will be divided into two groups and will compete in a two-leg round robin format.
Teams will compete for total cash prizes of 432 million VND (20,500USD) in the first leg which will take place from April 4-11.
Thetop two teams from each group will go on to face off for the Hung VuongVolleyball Cup at the Viet Tri Gymnasium in Phu Tho from April 15-18.
Tran Duc Phan, general secretary of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation,said the tournament is the best in the country and will help selectorspick the top players for the national team.
Foreign players will not be eligible to take part this year.-VNA
