Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) isinviting photos of Vietnam in the combat against COVID-19 to an exhibition slatedfor June 1.
VAPAChairman Vu Quoc Khanh said on May 11 that the event aims to push ahead withcommunications to raise public awareness of the pandemic, highlight Vietnam’senormous achievements in the COVID-19 fight, and honour the photo takers.
Theorganising board said photos sent to the exhibition should depict the countryand people in the disease prevention and control efforts, their daily livesin the pandemic, along with the exemplars and those working in the frontline.
Senderscan be professional photographers, photo journalists or those able to take COVID-19-themedphotos in Vietnam, and each can submit up to 20 works that are separate photosor groups of photos.
Theexhibition is open for entries via website www.trienlamanhCovid-19.com fromnow through May 20. The best 150-200 items will be selected for the display.
Theevent will be held at the VAPA’s centre for artistic photo archives andexhibition in Hanoi./.
