A photo exhibition on Vietnam – Laos relationship opened in Hanoi on November 27. Let’s take a look.
The event, organised by the Vietnam News Agency, is part of activities to mark the 55th diplomatic ties and 40 years of the signing of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation between the two countries.
Addressing the event, General Director of Vietnam News Agency Nguyen Duc Loi said by hosting the event, the agency hopes to bring visitors memorable moments, reflecting the faithful relations between the two countries.
“Documents and photos displayed at the exhibition were selected carefully,” said Le Tri Dung, Head of Vietnam News Agency’s Press Photography Department.
They also represent the sentiments of Vietnam News Agency’s reporters, Dung added.
Viengsay Dalasen, Lao Embassy’s envoy in Vietnam said the exhibition is a significant event in a series of events marking the two countries’ significant celebrations in 2017.
“The valuable documents displayed at the event play an important role in disseminating, and educating people, especially young generation of the two nations in protecting, and further promoting the special solidarity relations of Vietnam and Laos,” Dalasen added.
The exhibition will run until November 30. Similar event will be jointly held by the Vietnam News Agency and the Laos news agency KPL in Vientiane, Laos in December.-VNA
