Hanoi (VNA) – A photo exhibition on Hanoi waslaunched at the Hanoi Museum on March 12 to celebrate the 90th foundinganniversary of the city’s Party organisation (March 17, 1930 – 2020).
The Hanoi Party organisation was founded at 42 Hang ThiecStreet, Hoan Kiem district just over one month after the Communist Party ofVietnam was born. It marked a significant milestone in the revolutionarymovement of the country as well as the capital city, contributing to thenation’s great victory towards independence and socialism.
The exhibition, named “Hanoi, confidence and desire to rise”,showcases 200 photos divided in four sections – the first is devoted to preciousdocumentary photos on President Ho Chi Minh and the city’s revolutionarymovement; the second one focuses on the city’s historic milestones, tellingstories about its important achievements under the leadership of the municipalParty organisation; and the third one depicts the capital city during therenewal period with a desire to rise high as a national hub for culture,science, education, economics and international exchanges.
The last section shows efforts of the city to promote themovement of learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology andmorality.
