At a press conferenceon July 27, Peruvian Charge d’affaires Luis Tsuboyama said the cuisineweek, scheduled from July 27-31 at the Hilton Hanoi Opera Hotel, aims tobring Peru’s culture and gastronomy closer to Vietnamese people.
Atthe event, two Peruvian chefs from the Hilton Lima Hotel will sharetheir experiences and tips on making traditional foods and dishes.
Aworkshop to introduce two Peruvian functional foods, maca and quinoa,will also be organised as a sideline event, said Jose Luis, an expertfrom the Peruvian Ministry of Agriculture.
The Charge d’affairessaid bilateral relations between Vietnam and Peru have developedconsiderably in politics, economics, investment and trade in recentyears.
He also affirmed that Peru will continue creating favourable conditions for Vietnamese businesses to operate in the country.-VNA
