Hanoi (VNA) –
The ninth session of the 14th National Assembly continued its third online working day in Hanoi on May 22under the chair of NA Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu.

In themorning, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh presented a proposal on the draft law on international agreements. Chairman of the NA’s Committee for ExternalRelations Nguyen Van Giau later presented a verification report on the draft law.

Afterwards,NA Secretary General and Head of the NA Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc delivered a proposal on the parliament’s planned supervisory programme for 2021.

Chairman of the NA’sCommittee for Legal Affairs Hoang Thanh Tung presented the NA Standing Committee's proposal on a planned law andordinance building programme for 2021 and revisions to this year’s law andordinance building programme. Afterwards, the legislators engaged in onlinediscussions on these matters.
  
In theafternoon, Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long presented a proposal on amending andsupplementing some articles of the law on handling administrative violations. Chairman of the NA’s Committee for Legal Affairs Hoang Thanh Tung presented a verification report on this bill.

Tung then presented the NA Standing Committee's report on amendments and supplements tothe draft law revising and supplementing several articles of the law onpromulgation of legal documents. The legislators then conducted online debates on the bill.

On May23, the NA will continue online discussions on proposals on some bills on immigration, the pilot of urban administration in central Da Nang city and otherparticular policies, as well as amendments and supplements to some articles of the law on construction./.
