Indonesia win Da Nang’s U15 tournament title

Indonesia beat Chinese Taipei 11-0 in the last-round match to win the International U15 Football Tournament, which concluded in Da Nang on June 18.

Hanoi (VNA) - Indonesia beat ChineseTaipei 11-0 in the last-round match to win the International U15 FootballTournament, which concluded in Da Nang on June 18.

The champions scored 16 goals in three matches andallowed their rivals to break their net only twice.

Indonesia were also presented the fair-playaward. They also grabbed titles for the best player and best scorer.

Vietnam received the silver medal after drawing0-0 with Myanmar, who were placed third.

It was the first ever tournament for the U15s heldin the region. The event sponsored by Tien Phong Plastics Company is expectedto be held annually.-VNA

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Archaeologists from the Vietnam Institute of Archaeology, the Hanoi Museum and the Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities have announced the discovery of over 70 graves from the pre-Dong Son period and 40 graves from Dong Son period at the Vuon Chuoi archaeological relic in Kim Chung commune, Hoai Duc district.

Hanoi Ao dai dance marks Vietnamese women’s day
